While I hail from English and Scottish heritage, my joy and energy for home-prepared meals favor the Italian side, much to my similarly descended husband’s delight.
To me, some of life’s sweetest moments happen around the table—the laughter, the stories, and a warm meal made with love. As a mom of three, I know how quickly busy days can leave little time for the homemade dinner you had hoped to make.
That’s how Italian at Heart came to be. I shop for the ingredients and cook your chosen dinner in your own kitchen, so you can gather with the people you love and simply enjoy the evening. My hope is to give you a little more time together—and a dinner made from the heart.
A LITTLE LESS TO DO
Each all-inclusive dinner is prepared to serve 4–6 people, with generous portions and the kind of leftovers everyone is happy to find tomorrow.
01 · SIGNATURE DINNER
Freshly prepared with layers of pasta, rich homemade meat sauce, my signature cheese blend, and mozzarella.
Served with: A fresh organic kale salad with orange slices, pomegranate seeds, grated carrot, and candied pecans, dressed with fresh-pressed orange juice. Homemade sourdough bread is served with garlic-herb butter.
Made with organic, grass-fed ground beef.
All-inclusive dinner $575
Includes groceries, shopping, and cooking services.
02 · SLOW & COZY
Slow-cooked organic, free-range chicken in a rich tomato sauce, with mushrooms available upon request, served with your choice of spaghetti or angel hair pasta and finished with Parmesan.
Served with: A fresh organic salad of greens, grape tomatoes, your choice of Kalamata or black olives, mozzarella pearls, and homemade croutons, dressed in my homemade balsamic red-wine dressing. Organic French bread is served warm with garlic-herb butter.

03 · EASY EVENING
Organic spinach-and-cheese ravioli or tortellini in my creamy red sauce for an easy, comforting dinner.
Served with: Skillet asparagus sautéed in grass-fed butter and olive oil.

A little family touch: our sourdough bread is lovingly prepared from scratch by my sweet niece, Carly Ann, in her great-great-grandmother’s cast-iron Dutch oven.
Everything else is homemade in your kitchen, right down to the candied pecans.
*About 95% of my ingredients are organic.
Gluten-free information: Gluten-free options may be available on request. While I choose many organic ingredients, not all are produced in gluten-free facilities, so I cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free meal. Please share dietary needs before booking.

Booking & cancellation policy: A $100 booking deposit reserves your dinner date and is applied to your chef service fee. Groceries are purchased about 48 hours in advance. Cancel before groceries are purchased for a full refund. If you cancel after groceries are purchased, the deposit covers those grocery costs and any remaining amount is refunded to you. If groceries cost more than the deposit, you are responsible only for the difference.
